WHAT KIND OF PHOTOGRAPHER ARE YOU? 
My work has been described as fun, playful, natural, even sentimental. I combine traditional and lifestyle photography to capture genuine images for you to treasure for a lifetime. 

I do not try to make you look perfect, stiff, or unnatural. I always try to get that "one" shot with everyone looking at the camera and smiling, but most of your images will be interacting and connecting as a family!!

WHERE WILL MY SESSION BE HELD? 
I am a natural light, outdoor photographer, so they will be outside. We will work together to choose the perfect location for your session.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
I will send you an entire style guide with ideas, but most importantly I want you to be comfortable and be yourself.  Coordinate, don't match. There are rare occasions where everyone in the same color works, however generally you want diversity in colors and patterns. It is cheesy and out of style for everyone to be wearing jeans and white polos. When thinking about colors, choose colors that compliment each other, and chose lots of texture and layers. WILL I GET MY DIGITAL PHOTOS
AFTER THE SHOOT?
Yes, you will get all digital images from your session. Photographs grow in value over time and become family treasures. I offer one simple, all-inclusive collection where you receive all the high resolution digital files delivered via direct download and a print release. A minimum of 35 digitals files will be available to you (but usually there are more!), in both color and black and white. 

WHEN, HOW AND WHERE CAN I ORDER ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AND PRODUCTS? Within four weeks of your shoot, you will receive a link to a private online gallery. You will be able to order additional products directly from your gallery.

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE WHICH IMAGES GO IN MY GALLERY FROM OUR SHOOT?
I look carefully at each and every image we capture at your session and hand select the best images based on composition, lighting, focus and artistry. I am looking for images that represent me as artists and your family, as each is radically unique. I guarantee minimum of 35 images, but there are usually many more included.

HOW FAR OUT ARE YOU BOOKED?
I'm typically booking one to three months in advance. If you're interested in a fall session get on my calendar early as my schedule fills up fast in the fall.

DO YOU OFFER MINI-SESSIONS?
Yes, but only in the fall on specific dates and times. They are announced at the end of the summer. Make sure you're on my mailing list to get notified when they are available. 

HOW MUCH DOES ALL OF THIS COST?
My pricing is all-inclusive. This means you pay one price - and you get all the digital files. Total cost for your session is $550. A $100 retainer (that will be applied towards your session total) and signed contract are due when booking to secure your session date. Retainers are non-refundable, but can be transferred to a new date within 6 months.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CHANGE MY DATE?
I understand that life happens, that weather can't be controlled by either of us (unfortunately), and that sick kids are grumpy in photos. I will work with you - as much as we can - to make your session time work or re-schedule for a date that we are both open. I watch the weather carefully and will contact you as soon as I think it will be a problem.
