How are you all grown up and graduating from high school?
Anyone who has ever had a graduating senior knows those first 18 years of life went so much faster than you would have ever believed possible, weren’t you just born yesterday?
Someone once told me that when they start their freshman year, you better hold on because the next 4 years will go faster than you ever thought possible….and it’s true!!
This year has been such a challenge for so many seniors. I can’t imagine all the life experiences they didn’t get to have because of quarantine; school changed to e-learning, prom cancelled, school cancelled, no extra-curricular activities, no hanging out or end of the year parties. No graduations, and no idea when things might be back to ANY kind of normal. My heart breaks for these kids and those lost opportunities.
I’ve also seen so many strong and amazing young people rise above it all and start each day with a good attitude and an appreciation for all the effort that is going into making memories and experiences for them. What an experience they will have to look back on, and what memories they are making.
Congratulations Trevor!!
You’ve worked so hard to get to where you are today, Happy Graduation, I know this isn’t exactly how you imagined the end of high school, but I know you will do AMAZING things and I know your parents are SO PROUD of you and all your hard work!! Good luck at Michigan Tech, but you better take your warm coat, I hear it’s cold way up there!!
