I love meeting high school seniors for their senior photos. Sydney actually graduated about a week before we took these pictures. Time got away from them and they didn’t happen last fall and that’s totally ok!! Senior pictures can happen anytime, there is no time limit! Most seniors contact me during the summer between their junior and senior year, but we are definitely not limited to that time frame!!

I was so excited when I saw Sydney in this cute white dress, it went so perfectly with this little white fence that I found and I was excited to use my new lens and practice some layering and bokeh. It was a perfect night for photos, it had cooled off considerably from a few days before, in fact we were cold by the time we finished. The only complaint I had were the millions of mosquitoes that seem to LOVE me! If you have any good remedies, please tell me, I get eaten alive at EVERY session these days!!

Sydney was such a natural that I found my self forgetting to tell her what to do because she just looked so natural the whole time I was shooting. We had such a great time and got some amazing photos. She is off to Grand Valley State in Grand Rapids, Michigan this fall and I’m sure she will do so many amazing things in the future.

Sydney, it was so fun to meet you {again} and be able to capture your senior photos. Have the time of your life in college, I’m sure you’ll make lots of new friends and have so many fun, new experiences. Always live your life to the fullest, dream big and never let anything hold you back!!
