I am so honored that Krista and Miguel asked me to take their maternity photos at the swinging bridge in Riverside, IL. It’s become a family tradition that all of their most important events are captured at the swinging bridge. They did their first look for their wedding here, and came back for their 2 year anniversary with Joy, and now they are back for maternity photos with baby Arriaga! (Due in September)

They aren’t finding out the gender….is your guess a boy or girl?

I was also excited when they told me there weren’t finding out the gender of the baby. What an exciting time, anticipating the arrival of a new little one, and enjoying this season of life. But, what an emotional time, doing it all during a global pandemic… when everything is so out of our control, and so hard to navigate. When nothing is as it should be, and rules are changing daily. But, there is nothing as strong as a mother’s love for her baby. Many women go through hell and back to bring children into this world, and they would do it all again for the chance to hold their precious newborn.

I struggled with infertility my whole life and know first hand the long and bumpy road it takes to get to this point. I’m so happy for you Krista and Miguel. I know you will be the best parents, and that baby Arriaga will be loved by so many people. Praying for a safe, smooth and uneventful birth for both of you!!
