THE BIRTHDAY BOY || FIRE CHIEF IN TRAINING

When I arrived at Mason’s party, he wasn’t sure about me. He would barely make eye contact with me and he definitely wasn’t going to give me a smile. 😉 He turned and ran away from me more times than I could count and he wasn’t interested AT ALL in me getting pictures of him for his birthday.

His mom had worked so hard on all the adorable party decorations and treats. I loved the little table with all of the candy and things that Mason loves right now. The cake was adorable and I loved his “fire chief” shirt!!

I ended up following him around for most of his party and just trying to get him in his element. I can imagine that a stranger with a big camera in her face would be scary to a little one, so I tried to just play with him and wait until he was more warmed up to me and camera. He never really “liked” me, but we did get some cute shots. I had a really good time with his family and enjoyed getting to know them better. It was very evident to me that he is LOVED by so many people. He is lucky to have so many people in his life that love him and spoil him rotten. {which is exactly how it should be!}

I’m pretty sure his favorite part of the day was his birthday present, a riding 4×4 that was just his size. He LOVED it and once he had it, there was no way I was ever going to get him out of it. He was adorable trying to drive it, but he needs to work a little on his steering. I’m sure driving a car when you’re 2 is harder than it looks! 🙂

Happy Birthday Mason!!! I hope you always remember how much you are loved!!!
